Bachelor of Science in PK-12 Physical Education and Health
A Bachelor of Science in PK-12 Physical Education and Health prepares students to become effective physical education and health educators who promote lifelong physical activity, wellness, and healthy lifestyles. Students develop knowledge in physical education pedagogy, health education, exercise science, motor development, fitness assessment, and instructional methods. Students learn to design and implement developmentally appropriate programs addressing students’ physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. Practical experiences develop skills in teaching, assessment, communication, lesson planning, and inclusive instruction. Graduates are prepared to teach physical education and health in PK-12 settings.
