Coaching

An undergraduate degree in Coaching prepares students to effectively coach athletes and lead sport programs in a variety of settings. Students develop knowledge and skills in coaching principles, sport strategies, athlete development, leadership, communication, motivation, and team management. Students learn to design practices, evaluate performance, develop training programs, and create positive and inclusive sport environments. Coursework emphasizes ethical decision-making, injury prevention, sportsmanship, and athlete development. Graduates are prepared for coaching opportunities in youth, scholastic, collegiate, community, and recreational sport settings.
