The Big Event staff is encouraging CSC students, faculty and staff to complete a random act of kindness, Saturday, April 18. In doing so, we hope your volunteerism shines positivity on those you impact.
It is very important for volunteers to follow the COVID-19 guidelines when completing an act of kindness. Here are some safe examples:
The Big Event staff encourages you to share your act of kindness on social media using #BigEventCSC2020 and by tagging @BigEventCSC. This hashtag will allow acts of kindness to be collected and shared.
Volunteers will not need to complete any prior registration forms but instead will be asked to complete a post-event survey.
The Big Event staff appreciates your understanding and flexibility. We look forward to seeing your impact.
Want to make an impact on our community? Join the Chadron State College tradition of giving back and helping others by volunteering as an individual, with a friend group or with a campus organization.
Volunteers can register online or with The Big Event staff around campus.
Like us on Facebook for more information.
Not a student? No problem! Volunteer with colleagues or even serve as a jobsite leader.
If you have interest in participating as a class or have a campus organization you would like to be a part of The Big Event, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 308-432-6284. The Big Event staff would gladly speak to your classes, clubs or groups.

Want to have a bigger role? Apply to be a jobsite leader. In addition to volunteering, jobsite leaders are responsible for ensuring the completion of assigned jobsite tasks, returning any supplies provided by The Big Event and attending a jobsite leader meeting Friday, April 17 at 3:30 p.m.
