Our primary goal is to prepare musicians for careers in Music Education, Music Industry, or Applied Music. The development of teaching strategies, critical thinking, and communication skills is an important part in the study of music at Chadron State College. The students are given the opportunity to develop networking and marketing skills as performers and as educators.
Each of our six full-time faculty members work directly with students at all levels of classroom and individual instruction. All hold advanced degrees in their specializations and many possess additional certifications. They also bring a wealth of professional experience to the teaching arena, and maintain active performing schedules.
