The EAGLECard is a permanent identification card for students, faculty and staff and must be presented upon request. A cardholder is the only person authorized to use their EAGLECard. It is the cardholder’s responsibility to protect and maintain the condition of his/her card. It is valid as long as the cardholder is enrolled or employed at Chadron State College.

To obtain your Eaglecard:

 Please read the photo requirements thoroughly to ensure that the photo will be approved.  

 Photo Requirements 

  • The photograph must have a light grey or white background color.  
  • The photograph should be a current photo of your head and shoulders (portrait shot). 
  • Your face must be clearly visible and facing forward – no profile shots, sunglasses, hats, or head bands.  No graduation caps, gowns, or costumes may be worn.   
  • Nothing can be touching your face such as hands, props or other distractions. 
  • You must be the only person in the picture. 
  • Please do not lighten/darken the picture. 


Photos that do not meet the above requirements or are inappropriate will not be processed.  You will be notified by email if the photo you supplied is not accepted. 

Once the photo has been approved, we will create your new EagleCard and send you an email with the location to pick up your card. Be prepared to show a government form of photo identification (driver’s license, state identification card, military id, passport, etc.) when you pick up your new Eaglecard.

The photographic images taken for the EAGLECard are considered property of Chadron State College and can be used for official purposes. The EAGLECard is non-transferable and is the property of the Chadron State College.
