Chadron State College takes the health and safety of its campus community seriously. In response to the novel coronavirus and the COVID-19 infection, CSC is collaborating with local and regional health partners to address the spread of the contagious disease.
A successful fall semester depends on everyone accepting personal responsibility for their health and the health of others. Wear a mask when you are in any campus building or when you’re around others, even in the town of Chadron. If you’re sick, stay home and monitor your symptoms. All of us play an important role in keeping our community safe and welcoming. Chadron State College asks each student and employee to follow the guidelines outlined on this page. Throughout the semester it will be vital we remain vigilant and treat each other with dignity and respect. We are a community and we are in this together. Take the pledge and Protect the Nest.
One of the easiest ways you can Protect the Nest is by following the 3 Ws:
- Wear a mask
- Wash your hands
- Watch your distance
You can also help ensure our campus remains open for face-to-face instruction by conducting daily self-assessments by using the #CampusClear app. Download it from the Apple Store or Google Play.
