Chadron State College Career Scholarships

Students at Chadron State College benefit from its Career Scholarships program. The scholarship provides financial support for a variety of academic programs with internships as a key component. The goal is to help CSC students in the academic programs find gainful employment in their chosen career fields while residing in the state of Nebraska

Eligible students can choose from a wide range of majors, including:

Eligibility

  • First-Time Freshman or Transfer Student
  • Enroll and remain in an approved degree program
  • ACT score of 18 or higher
  • The scholarship is renewable as long as:
    • Eligibility criteria are met
    • Student remains eligible to enroll and in good academic standing
    • Student successfully completes 24 credit hours each year
    • Nebraska-based internship, apprenticeship, clinical position, or major-related field of employment prior to completion of program of study

First-Time Freshmen Scholarship Amounts

  • Apply to Chadron State College by Jan. 15
  • Minimum Award: $2,000/year
  • Maximum Award: $5,000/year

Scholarship amounts are renewable up to four years

Transfer Scholarship Amounts

  • Apply by completing the Transfer Scholarship Application at csc.edu/start/finaid/scholarships/transfer (deadline is March 1).
  • Minimum Award: $2,000/year
  • Maximum Award: $5,000/year

Scholarship amounts are renewable one year
