Soprano/Alto Day

Chadron State College Music will be hosting a "Soprano/Alto Day" on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (check-in begins at 8:30 am) on the Chadron State College campus in Room 126 in Memorial Hall.

This workshop is for students who sing soprano or alto in choir, grades 9 through 12.

Together with the sopranos and altos of the CSC Concert Choir and Dr. Joel Schreuder, we will work on vocal technique, leadership, ensemble singing, and enjoying the art of singing SSAA music!

Soprano/Alto Day is offered every other year and alternates with Tenor/Bass Day, in the hopes of creating an inspiring day for the singers from regional high school choirs.

There is a registration fee of $15 to cover the cost of purchasing music for the event.  Lunch is on your own.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO REGISTERED FOR SOPRANO/ALTO DAY.

We reached our 180 singer registrations goal.  The venue, the Chadron Arts Center is near capacity so we must close registrations.
