Instructional Technology Analysis Request

The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) performs an analysis of all instructional technology requests within Academic Affairs and reports its findings and recommendations to the faculty or staff member making the request, his or her supervisor, and an IT representative.

The TLC performs additional research and considers how requested technologies will integrate with existing networks, systems, and spaces. We examine potential strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with requested technologies, advise on their use, weigh in on their support, and recommend alternatives. The TLC does not make final decisions on instructional technology purchases; its role is solely to advise and to anticipate potential problems.
