|Title: Burkhiser Network Outage|
Network service has been restored to Burkhiser.
Two of the five building switches sustained damage.
The main building switch has been replaced.
The power supply in a downline switch has been replaced.
We will continue to monitor service this afternoon.
Please report connectivity issues from Burkhiser or any campus location to the IT Help Desk at 6311 or email@example.com.
Thank you for your patience.
As a result of the power outage, network service to and from Burkhiser is currently down.
We are working on determining the source and resolution.

Affect: Users may experience several outages during the service window.
Inbound and outbound service will be affected including login service to Sakai, Office 365, TK20, SANS.

Source was determined to be a connectivity issue to an internal domain controller affecting DNS service.

Some users are experiencing sporadic internet, and outlook connection issues. Possible affected services include Shared drives, Skype for Business and Internet browsers.

Affect: There is a possibility of slow response time on the campus network during the redirection of traffic from the Great Plains circuit, in the event problems are encountered and during associated remediation efforts.
