|Fossil poaching is a problem at Toadstool Park. At the researcher's feet is a depression where a turtle fossil has been illegally removed. The information this turtle could have provided to the scientists has been lost forever.|
|Some turtles are found to be completely "exploded."|
|Occasionally turtles are found intact and make their way into a museum display.|
