Entertainment and Activities

There will be various activities and entertainment provided throughout the day. A schedule of these activities will be included in the packet you will receive the week of the contest.

Medals will be awarded to the top three places in each test. In case of a tie, more than one medal will be awarded for that place. (Therefore, in some cases, it is possible that no second or third place medals will be awarded.) Certificates of Merit will be awarded to those finishing in the top 25% of each test. Certificates of Participation will be presented to all contestants.

A plaque will be presented to the top school of each division. Medals, certificates, and plaques will be mailed to schools the week following the contest.

Each senior who wins first place in an exam will be the recipient of a Scholastic Achievement Award. This award is a waiver of the in-state portion of tuition to Chadron State College for the Fall and Spring semesters of the 2015-2016 school year. This award is non-renewable and non-transferable.
