On-Campus Signing Days and New Student Orientation

Signing Day General Event Schedule

All events will take place in the CSC Student Center
Schedule valid for all Signing Day Events. All times are Mountain Standard Time.

8:00 - 8:30 a.m.
Arrival and Check-In
Plan to arrive on-campus and check-in anytime between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. We ask that you do not arrive on campus any earlier than 8:00 a.m.

8:00 - 9:00 a.m.
Information Fair
Visit with various Student Services representatives from Admissions, Housing, Health Services, START (financial aid) and the Business Office. A number of campus organizations, programs and groups will also be represented. You will also have the opportunity to have your Student ID photo taken.

9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Welcome & General Session
Get a crash course in what you need to know as a CSC student. This opening session provides an overview of how to utilize the CSC website, your MyCSC account and EagleMail. A general overview of financial aid, billing and other topics will also be discussed.Specific questions about financial aid can be addressed after the session in the START office.

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
STUDENT Advising Session                                                                                   
Students are taken in groups to meet with faculty advisors to go over the degree program, Essential Studies and their course schedule. Students can then make any necessary schedule changes with the assistance of CSC staff and learn to utilize the enrollment tools in MyCSC.

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Informational PARENT/GUEST Session
Parents/Guests have the opportunity to participate in a session with various Student Services representatives, followed by a presentation on transitioning students into successful and independent members of the CSC campus community.

Students can re-join their parents after they are finished with their advising session.
Lunch is on your own. 

Following the sessions, students may take care of remaining business on-campus--have Student ID photos taken, visit Crites Hall offices, take campus tours, etc.--after the noon hour. The START office will be open until 4:30 p.m. MST for specific questions about enrollment and financial aid.
