Project Strive, Trio is a federally funded TRIO-Student Support Services(SSS) program which emerged out of the Higher Education Act Amendments of 1965. Chadron State College was awarded a four-year renewable grant to fund this program and assist its population of eligible students.

Project Strive offers free services designed to motivate and support qualified college students at Chadron State College. This is an academic enrichment program committed to helping college students persist to graduation through encouragement, support, and a wide range of activities. The Project Strive program may also provide grant aid to current SSS participants who are receiving Federal Pell Grants.

Our goal is to increase the retention and college graduation rates of our participants. Additional objectives include career exploration, cultural and social enrichment, and self-awareness.
