On-Campus Registration (OCR) and New Student Orientation (NSO)

New Student Orientation 2012

Welcome to Chadron State College and New Student Orientation!

We are excited about you attending CSC and becoming part of the Eagle family. You are about to embark on an exciting journey making new friends, engaging in new experiences and starting your academic career. One of CSC’s top priorities is helping new students make a successful transition, as they experience college life.

We have planned New Student Orientation (NSO) to give you an introduction to both academic and non-academic life at Chadron State College.  Orientation is more than a campus tour. It is designed to inform you about all the elements important to your success as a college student.

All new students are required to attend NSO, August 16-18, 2012, prior to the start of fall classes. Each student is strongly encouraged to bring up to two adult guests for the Thursday and Friday orientation sessions. Each new, incoming student is automatically charged a $100.00 NSO fee to cover the cost of this event, for the student and up to two parents/guests. Please ensure your guests are registered.
