OMAHA - Chadron State College’s Jimmy Savala and Dustin Stodola each claimed fourth place finishes at the University of Nebraska-Omaha Kaufman Brand Invitational Saturday in Omaha.

Savala, a junior from Clovis, Calif., went 4-2 at 141 pounds in the Elite Division.

Stodola, a freshman from Clarkson, Neb., also posted a 5-2 record while wrestling in the Amateur Division at 125.

“Jimmy and Dustin both wrestled well,” CSC wrestling coach Scott Ritzen said. “This is a tough tournament and they did a nice job against some high-caliber competition.”

Chadron State’s Ryan Fillingame also had a strong showing, finishing with a 4-2 record at 133 pounds.

Other CSC wrestlers earning wins were Derek Dubas, Chris Leak, Brian Easterling and Sam Udell.

The Eagles will be back in action Saturday, Dec. 5 when they host Northern State in a dual at the Nelson Physical Activity Center. The dual is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
