Eagles sign middle blocker from Colorado

CHADRON – Aspen Becker, a 6-foot middle blocker from Highlands Ranch, Colo., signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball at Chadron State College, head coach Amy Spruiell announced.

Becker, a four-year letter winner at ThunderRidge High School, was a first-team all-conference selection after accounting for 176 points her senior season. She had 100 kills and added 76 blocks in 51 games.

She also played for the Denver Volleyball Club Team and was a member of the National Honor Society and earned Academic All-State honors.

Becker is the fourth student-athlete to sign with Chadron State’s volleyball team. Jessica Jester of Cheyenne, Wyo., Kyla Duncan of Berthoud, Colo., and Kaitlin Luikens of Scottsbluff also inked National Letters of Intent.

In addition, Natalie Hadden, a 6-0 sophomore right side hitter from Bridgeport joined the Eagles in the spring after transferring from Doane College.
