CHADRON – The Chadron State College volleyball team is hosting a five-team exhibition tournament Saturday at Armstrong Gymnasium.

In addition to CSC’s team, which features 10 returning players from 2009, volleyball squads from Black Hills State, South Dakota School of Mines, Laramie County Community College and Eastern Wyoming College will be competing.

The Eagles will play four matches, beginning at 10 a.m. The remaining match times for CSC are at 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.

CSC is also scheduled to scrimmage the University of Nebraska-Kearney later this month while they take part in spring practices.

On Sunday, the volleyball team is hosting a 6-on-6 women’s indoor volleyball tournament.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. in the lobby of the gym and play starts at 8:30 a.m.

The cost is $15 per person and the tourney will feature pool play with double elimination playoffs.
