Nebraska Student Information System (NeSIS) Project Update
April 5, 2010 Issue #10: Pre-Registration Edition

CSC NeSIS e-News is produced each week to notify the campus of important announcements and progress that is being made with the new PeopleSoft based student information system, aka NeSIS. Previous versions of eNews are archived on the CSC NeSIS Website, http://www.csc.edu/nesis/updates.csc

Pre-Registration

Pre-Registration has begun for Senior and Graduate students for the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 terms. The remaining students will be able to pre-register for classes beginning April 7th for Juniors, April 9th for Sophomores, and April 14th for First Year Students. Students will need to login to the new PeopleSoft Portal to register for classes and will be using their NUID to login. Emails have been sent to EagleMail accounts with an NUID and detailed instructions on accessing the new portal.

Assistance will be provided the week of April 12th in the Ponderosa Room in the Student Center from Noon – 6:00pm, Monday – Friday.

For registration assistance contact the Registrar’s Office at 308-432-6221, or stop by the Student Center the week of April 12th!

Student Tutorials can be found on the Student Information page of the NeSIS site to guide users through logging into the portal and pre-registering for classes.

CSC NeSIS Web Site

The CSC NeSIS web site can be found by clicking on the NeSIS icon at the bottom of the CSC home page. The site is provided to help inform faculty, staff, and students about the NeSIS project and is updated weekly!
