Hoop Shoot tips off this weekend

The Chadron Hoop Shoot Tournament, for boys and girls in fifth through eighth grades, will be Friday and Saturday at various locations in Chadron.

CHADRON – The Chadron Hoop Shoot Tournament, for boys and girls in fifth through eighth grades, will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday at various locations in Chadron.

Games will be played at the Nelson Physical Activity Center and  Armstrong Gymnasium.

2012 Hoop Shoot Schedule

There will be divisions for each boys and girls grade, with each team playing a minimum of four games.

This tournament is organized by the Chadron State College men’s and women’s basketball programs. As of Wednesday, 44 teams have registered to play in the tournament.

Games begin Friday evening at 5 p.m., concluding at 10 p.m. Saturday’s games begin at 9 a.m. and Sunday’s contests start at 8 a.m.

Admission is $4 per day. An all-tourney pass may be purchased for $10.
