Senior Art Show and Reception

The exhibition, "Seven Artists, One Show,"  opens Tues., Mar. 30 and runs until Thurs., April 15, 2010, in the Main Gallery of Memorial Hall. A public reception for the artists will be Friday, April 2 from 4 to 6 p.m. The show displays the work of seven art students who will be graduating this year. The artists, all from Nebraska, are: Brandon Allen, Bennet; Ashley Goff, Crawford; Ashley Johnson, Crofton; Amanda Lewin, Chadron; Nikki Suhr, Scottsbluff; Michelle Vorderstrasse, Hastings; and Chance Whelchel, Harrisburg. Media in the show ranges from paintings in watercolor, oil, acrylic, and mixed media, drawings, prints, glass, ceramics, and graphic design, to sculpture/installation pieces.
