Led by Ally Malzahn’s two-day total of 163, the Eagles finished in 12th place with a 672.
Florida Southern took first place with a combined score of 587. Lubbock Christian was second with 606, Western New Mexico finished in third with a 610, California Baptist was fourth with a 615, and Southern Nazarene was fifth with a 618.
Other than Western New Mexico, Chadron State was the highest finishing Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference team. Adams State was 14th and Colorado State-Pueblo was16th.
Although Malzahn led the Eagles, Leslie Mueller and Alissa Peterson weren’t far behind. Mueller shot an 83 on Tuesday to finish with a total of 166, and Peterson shot an 85 to finish with a total of 168.
Also for CSC, Sam Hanson shot an 88 to end with a 175, and Loni Hughes shot a 95 for a two-day total of 190.
The Eagles will be back in action on Sunday at the Adams State tournament.
