Chadron State College students enrolled in the elementary education block hosted approximately 100 students from Lone Man and Oyate Concern Schools for Dr. Seuss Day in early March.
The CSC students prepared lessons as part of their reading methods courses that were taught during the day.
Math, science, music, art, and physical education were also taught during the three-hour event.
“Dr. Seuss Day is a great opportunity for the block students because it gives them a chance to not only plan classroom instruction, but to also carry out their lesson plans with an actual classroom of students,” said Dr. Jesse Sealey, CSC education faculty member.
