The Chadron State College senior thesis art show “The Altered World” featuring the work of Patrick Mooney and Conor McGhehey opens Nov. 20 in the Memroial Hall Main Gallery.

McGhehey will be graduating with his bachelor’s degree with the art/graphic design option in December. He works in the medium of painting, sculpture, mix-media, and stained glass. The inspiration for his work comes from movies, random Google searches, music and his own imaginational twist.

A reception for the artists will be held Nov. 22 from 4-6 p.m. in the lobby of Memorial Hall. The artwork on display is also for sale.

The show runs Nov. 20-Dec. 6. The gallery hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. For more information, call 308-432-6317 or see www.csc.edu/vpa/art.
