The Nebraska Cattlemen Foundation board will be meeting on the Chadron State College campus Sept. 17. Foundation board president Loretta Hamilton, of Thedford, said the group is looking forward to touring the Coffee Agriculture Pavilion, which is now in the final stages of construction.
The Nebraska Cattlemen Foundation will give $14,000, through a multi-year gift, toward the construction of the pavilion. The first gift was received by the Chadron State Foundation in early 2013.
Also, several historic ranching items are on loan from the group and displayed in the Coffee Gallery of the Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center.
Dr. Randy Rhine, president of CSC, and other college and Chadron State Foundation officials will join the Cattlemen’s group for lunch in the Sandoz Center followed by a one-hour tour of the pavilion beginning about 12:45. p.m.
