As the academic year commences, a few new faces are joining the faculty at Chadron State College.

Anthony Perlinski has been hired as a faculty member in the department of Applied Sciences to teach courses in rangeland ecology, range management, forage management, range plant identification and habitat inventory and analysis.

A deciding factor in his choice to accept the position was, “the potential for growth in the range program plus a familiarity with CSC,” he said. He enjoys hunting, fishing, mountain biking, and gardening.

Kurt Kinbacher is a new assistant professor in department of Communication and Social Sciences and will be teaching at least three different history courses.

He said he was attracted to CSC primarily because of a very innovative and modern curriculum adopted by the history professors here plus he wanted to return to Nebraska. His interests include fly fishing, bicycling, hiking, walking his dog, guitars and banjos, and writing history.

Ron Bolze is also new on campus and will be a lecturer in the area of animal sciences including farm and ranch management, livestock evaluation and selection and anatomy and physiology. His wife, Becky, is a new employee in the CSC Admissions office this fall. His interests include running, physical fitness, gardening and seedstock Angus cowherd.

Jamie Hamaker is an incoming faculty member in the business academy and will be teaching business statistics and quantitative methods. The quality and reputation of the business department and family in the area are reasons Hamaker joined the CSC community. Her interests include camping, water skiing and outdoors activities.

Chris Tingley has been hired as an assistant professor teaching Business, Marketing, Principles of Marketing and Sales Techniques. His interests include music, television and science fiction.

Tingley said, “CSC is a small college where I can have a stronger relationship with students.”
