A public reception for this fall's Chadron State College senior art show will be Friday, Nov. 16, from 4-6 p.m. in the lobby of Memorial Hall.
The show, titled "Diverge," opened Monday, Nov. 12, in the main gallery of Memorial Hall. It will be on display to Dec. 7.
The exhibit features the work of graduating seniors Jory Zurcher of Mitchell and Megan Gibbens of Sargent. Both are graduating in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a field endorsment to teach art in elementary through high school.
Zurcher is exhibiting oil and watercolor paintings, leatherwork and stained glass. His work is inspired by everyday life and his rodeo lifestyle.
Gibbens' work includes watercolor paintings, stained glass, and a sculptural piece.
