The CSC High School Dual Enrollment Program is extended to high school juniors and seniors contingent upon the permission recommendation from a high school official, permission of a parent/guardian and verification ONE of the following:
Students who have not previously taken Dual-Enrollment or Early-Entry courses with CSC should follow this procedure to apply and enroll:
ACE Applicants: By requesting enrollment and verifying you have applied for the ACE scholarship, you will not be responsible for paying the tuition costs up front. However, you are required to pay the $15 matriculation fee.You are fully financially responsible for the full payment of your bill if you are not eligible for/granted an ACE scholarship by the CCPE. You are obligated to reimburse Chadron State College for the ACE Scholarship if you earn a course grade or course grades that fall below minimum thresholds as established by CSC ACES grade policies.

Students requesting to drop a dual-enrollment course for a refund and no academic penalty, after they have been enrolled and after the CSC drop deadline as stated on the Academic Calendar, may do so in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. These requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and a determination will be made based on the nature of the request. Should a request to drop be granted, the student will be required to pay a $75 Enrollment Cancellation fee.
If a student does not complete the course due to extenuating circumstances, CSC will request information from the school about the situation to determine how the course should be graded. If the student left the course within the withdraw period and based on the situation, the student may be give a grade of "W" for the course. Other circumstances may warrant a grade "F" as determined by the school and CSC.
Dual Enrollment is a partnership between Chadron State College and participating school districts. The primary goal of the program is to offer qualified high school junior and senior students opportunities to rise to the challenge of college courses. The program effectively utilizes the junior/senior year by preparing students for college.Instructor requirements can be found in Board Policy 4420.
Transcripts: Graduating high school students attending a college or university other than Chadron State College may request an official transcript through CSC's Online Transcript Request.
Transfer of Credits: Most colleges and universities will accept transfer credit if a student earns a grade of “C” or better. Students should seek information from the college or university about transfer of credit prior to enrolling in the Dual-Enrollment program.
Students who receive one or more of the following benefits may be eligible to receive scholarship funding toward the cost of their Dual Enrollment tuition through the Access College Early (ACE) program
Students should work with their HS counselor to complete the application and submit required supporting documentation. Check with your HS Counselor for details or check out the Access College Early (ACE) program.
ACE funding is not guaranteed. If the student is not approved or granted ACE funding, the student/parent is responsible for the FULL payment of the course. It is best to apply early, however decisions about funding are often not made until after the 100% drop/refund period has expired. Please keep this in mind when you enroll.
