3 hours of Essential Studies (39 deemed earned with transfer of AA degree).
40 upper division credit hours required: 3 hours from the ES program + 30 hours in Criminal Justice major (50% of major rule: Fifty percent of the 57-hour Criminal Justice major = 30 credit hours [28.5 hours rounded up]) + 7 hours of electives satisfies requirement.
**CJ 390, Internship in Criminal Justice, may be taken anytime within the two-year period. CJ 446, Cross-Cultural Studies/Justice Studies, may be taken during the spring semester only. Instructor’s permission and study abroad requirements must be satisfied before admission to course.
