Mail is delivered regularly by the postal department to mailboxes provided for each apartment. Lessees will be provided with a key for their mailbox. To speed mail handling and delivery it is important that mail be addressed in the following manner:
The College Health Services Office is located in room 118 of Crites Hall. The college nurse is available to treat minor illnesses and injuries, and to dispense over-the-counter medications. Chadron State College offers a free clinic at the Chadron Community Hospital every weekday morning from 7:00a.m.-9:00a.m. Appointments are necessary and can be made through the college nurse at 432.6232. Office visits are free of charge but students will be responsible for any charges incurred with lab work, x-rays, and/or prescribed medications.
Residents of CSC Apartments may purchase meals from the cafeteria if desired. On-campus student meal plans can be purchased through the Housing Office.
Telephone service is provided for each CSC Apartment unit. The apartments telephone number is obtained from the Housing Office, and each lessee must provide his/her own telephone. Local service is included in the monthly rent and long distance service is acquired through a calling card or by calling collect. Occupants using this system will be unable to accept collect calls. To access an outside line, dial "9" (followed by "0" if placing a long distance call) and the number you are trying to reach.
Cable Television, including HBO, is provided for every CSC Apartment unit. No antennae or sattellite dish may be attached to any building or erected on the premises.
