Health Professions Club

Any student interested in a career as a health professional is encouraged to become a member of the Health Professions Club. The Club provides students a forum through which they can learn more about their future careers, and socialize with students in different programs and classes.
The Health Professions Club is very active at CSC. It is one of the largest clubs on campus and provides many new experiences for its members. Activities include:
- Field trips (UNMC tours)
- Fund-raising (football concessions)
- Campus activities (Spring Daze, Homecoming)
- Public relations (elementary school health fairs)
- Academic programs
The members of the HPC are also active members of the community. By helping with Rural Health Screening Day, and other school programs, the students interact with the citizens of Chadron and the surrounding areas.
Because of the hard work club members do throughout the year, many fun activities are also planned. Some of these include: a spring field trip, the Health Professions Club Banquet; an awards dinner to recognize students moving on to professional school, and a Swine Swoire' (pig roast).
Memebers are also actively involved in the annual Health Professions Day.
