Master of Arts in Education - Science or Mathematics

This program of study is customized to meet the educational and professional needs of the students who want advanced knowledge in either science or mathematics in order to continue their professional goal of a doctorate degree, career advancement or professional development. The Mathematics program is offered in the online format while the Science program is offered in a face-to-face format.

Entrance requirements for the Mathematics based program

• Complete application
• Earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution with a grade point average of 2.75 or better on a 4.00 scale
• Official transcripts from the college/university which issued bachelor's degree. 
• Official transcripts from any institutions attended after receiving bachelor's degree (if applicable)

• Complete application
• Earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution with a grade point average of 2.75 or better on a 4.00 scale
• Official transcripts from the college/university which issued bachelor's degree. 
• Official transcripts from any institutions attended after receiving bachelors degree (if applicable)
• GRE score of Verbal = 350, Quantitative = 410, and Analytical Writing = 3.0 if taken prior to August 2011.  Minimum GRE scores after August 2011 - Verbal = 153, Quantitative = 157, Analytical Writing = 3.0.

Program of study for the Mathematics or Science based program

EDCI 631, Introduction to Graduate Study, should be completed within the first 12 hours of a student's program of study.
