Unrestricted Donations Provide Flexibility

Each year the College and its students have a variety of different, smaller needs, which charitable gifts help to fund. Because these needs are not necessarily known at the start of each year, unrestricted gifts are secured through direct mail, phonathons and major gift solicitation.

These annual fund programs help fund opportunities ranging from:

• Travel funds for student conventions, workshops, sporting events, etc.
• Academic and athletic equipment purchases
• Unrestricted scholarship opportunities
• Minor refurbishing projects on campus
• Emergency student loans
• On-campus lectures, workshops and seminars

Gifts to the annual fund program can take many forms including cash, securities and personal and real property. Donors can also make a multi-year annual fund pledge.
