BREAKING NEWS:
Congress has renewed the IRA Gift Opportunity for 2008 and 2009 permitting IRA owners age 71 ½ and older to make distributions to qualified organizations like the Chadron State Foundation of up to $100,000 per year.
To make a 2008 gift from an IRA, you should contact your IRA trustee as soon as possible. Transfers for 2008 must be completed by December 31, 2008.
