A general scholarship to a low to moderate income level recipient(s).
Recipient(s) shall be a student who demonstrates a strong work ethic and the willingness to give back to society.
Numerous scholarships ranging in amounts from $500-$1,000 will be provided to western Nebraska students. The recipients must be of college sophomore level or above and will be selected on the basis of scholarship, activities and character. This award is automatically renewable, provided the recipient continues to meet the required criteria specific to this scholarship.
An annual scholarship will be provided to a junior or senior who graduated from a Nebraska high school and has maintained a GPA of 3.0 or above.
This award is made available to a college student at the sophomore level or above. The recipient shall have a GPA of at least 2.5.
The C-A-R-E Scholarship endowment was established in 1987 with contributions from alumni and friends of Chadron State College. This is a one-year non-renewable $500 award, available to first time students, as well as continuing/returning CSC students. Requirements for this scholarship vary according to the applicant’s status. Recipients are selected on the basis of previous academic achievement and their potential for excellence.
Awards from this endowment will be awarded first to an alumnus of Chadron Prep School or a direct descendant of a Chadron Prep alumnus. Second preference will be given to students from area schools who plan to attend CSC.
The Beta Zeta Chapter provides one scholarship. The recipient must be a female of sophomore level with a minimum GPA of 3.5, who is involved in at least two college activities, one of which is associated with her major field of study.
A scholarship will be awarded for a full-time college junior or senior level student with financial need.
A scholarship shall be provided for a student who is a single parent. The recipient must be of college sophomore level or above. This award is automatically renewable, provided the recipient continues to meet the required criteria specific to this scholarship.
A scholarship will be awarded to a sophomore or above with a GPA of at least 2.5. Financial need shall be a consideration.
A scholarship shall be provided for a single parent with at least one child. To qualify, the child must be under the age of 18 years and must live with the parent for at least six months out of the year. Recipient must have a GPA of at least 3.0.
A scholarship will be awarded to a high school graduate of either Dawes, Sioux or Sheridan counties, who graduated with a minimum GPA of 3.25 and who has declared Pre-Nursing as a college major. Second preference would be given to a sophomore or junior majoring in Pre-Pharmacy. This scholarship is renewable one time, if the recipient has met the GPA requirements.

Applicants must indicate their tribal enrollment number on the scholarship application. Recipient must be of college sophomore level or above and have graduated from a high school located on the Rosebud Reservation. Transfer students from Oglala Lakota College or Sinte Gleska University shall also be eligible for this award.
The recipient of this award shall be an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and an active participant in school sponsored clubs, organizations or athletic teams. Applicants must indicate their tribal enrollment number of the scholarship application form. Recipient must be of college sophomore level or above and have graduated from a high school located on the Pine Ridge Reservation. Transfer students from Oglala Lakota College or Sinte Gleska University shall also be eligible for this award.
The Nebraska Cooperative Council Education Foundation will provide a scholarship to a sophomore, junior or senior majoring or minoring in Agribusiness dependent upon available funding. Students must have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or above. Eligibility is limited to sons/daughters of a parent/legal guardian who has been an active member, director, or employee for at least the prior three (3) years of a cooperative which has been a member in good standing of the Council for at least five (5) years. A scholarship is provided for a student at the sophomore level or above who graduated from a high school located in Fall River or Custer County, South Dakota. First preference shall be an Agri-Business major. Second preference shall be given to any major.
A number of scholarships are awarded each year to students who plan to major in art. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of artistic and creative ability rather than financial need. Please have a letter of recommendation sent by your art instructor or principal attesting to your interest and ability in art. Also submit at least fifteen 35mm slides or color prints by mail showing original art work in a wide range of materials.

A scholarship is provided for a senior who needs assistance while in his/her student teaching semester. The recipient must have successfully completed the PPST competency exam. The recipient also must have successfully completed EDUC 131 and PSYC 231 with a grade of “C” or better. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is required.
A scholarship is provided for a non–traditional student who graduated from a Nebraska Panhandle high school. Preference will be given to a student majoring in English, Journalism or Elementary Education and entering the Professional Teaching semester. A 2.5 or above GPA is required.

The A.G. Peterson Family Memorial Fund will provide a scholarship for a Nebraska resident of junior or senior level majoring in Education. The recipient shall display good character, leadership and exceptional potential for teaching as evidenced by a 3.0 or better GPA.
A scholarship will be awarded to a college senior enrolled in the Professional Education semester, preferably having a major in English or Library Media. The recipient must be a graduate of a Wyoming high school. Second preference shall be given to a college senior who is an Education major and a graduate of a Wyoming high school. The recipient shall have a GPA of 3.0 or above.

A scholarship will be provided to a student pursuing a major in Industrial Technology. Second consideration will be given to Math and Science majors. Upperclassmen must have a GPA of 3.0 or above. Freshmen will be evaluated on their ACT composite score.
A scholarship for an undergraduate student majoring in Industrial Technology. The recipient shall have a GPA of at least 2.0. This scholarship is renewable if the student is taking a minimum of six hours in ITE.
A scholarship will be provided for a junior level student majoring in Industrial Technology Education. The award will be based on scholarship and character and the recipient must have a 2.75 GPA in the above field and maintain a 2.25 GPA overall.

A scholarship is given to applicants who are majoring in Music and have participated in a Chadron State College campus production--band, choir, drama, musical, etc. Recipients must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be of college sophomore, junior or senior status.
An annual scholarship will be provided for a Music major with an instrument emphasis in keyboard. Second preference will be given to a student majoring in voice. The music faculty shall make recipient selection.
A scholarship will be provided for students who are Music Education majors with an emphasis in Instrumental Music. Recipients must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
A scholarship will be provided for a student of sophomore, junior or senior level who is an outstanding Instrumental Music major, participating in one or more major instrumental organizations. The recipient may petition for renewal of the scholarship, if the recipient has maintained a 3.0 GPA. Petition must be made before January 15.
A scholarship is provided for a full-time undergraduate non-Music major who is participating as a member of the CSC Band. The recipient must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and demonstrate financial need.
A scholarship will be provided for a student who is a person of color defined as Asian, African-American, Hispanic or Native American. Preference will be given to students majoring in Music or participating in instrumental/vocal ensembles. The student must send an audition cassette tape with his/her application to the Chair of the Visual and Performing Arts Department.
Awards shall be provided for students majoring in Music, who have participated in a Chadron State College campus band, choir, drama, musical or theatre production. The recipients must be of college sophomore, junior or senior level and have a GPA of at least 3.0. The CSC music faculty shall make the selection.
A scholarship will be provided for a Fine Arts major, with preference given to a student majoring in Voice.
A scholarship is provided for a full-time student majoring in Music. Student must be able to demonstrate financial need and have a GPA of 2.5 or above.
A scholarship will be provided for a student with a major or minor in Music. The recipient shall have a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. The CSC music faculty will make the selection.
A scholarship will be provided for a student with a major in Music with an emphasis in Tuba. The recipient shall have a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. First preference shall be given to a Junior.

The scholarship is available to any deserving senior in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Earth Science, Health Professions and Allied Fields. The faculty of this division will make recommendations.
A scholarship will be provided for a student majoring or minoring in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Natural Science or Physical Science. The recipient will be selected on the basis of scholastic ability and need.
A scholarship will be awarded to a junior or senior pursuing a BS degree in Physical Education. The recipient must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA in all HPER courses. The recipient must be willing to be a member of the Nebraska Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance and be willing to serve as a student representative for the campus.
A scholarship will be provided for a full- or part-time student majoring in Psychology and/or Guidance and Counseling. The recipient should have a GPA of 3.0 or better.
A scholarship will be made available to any college level student, including Graduate. The recipient shall be majoring in the area of Psychology or Counseling and have maintained a High School or college GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

A scholarship will be provided for a History or Secondary Social Science major. Recipients must have an ACT score of 18 or above and have graduated in the top one-half of their graduating class. First preference will be given to incoming freshmen.
A scholarship will be given to a student majoring in Pre-Law, Criminal Justice or Legal Studies. The recipient must have an ACT score of 18 or above and have at least a 2.5 GPA.
A scholarship is provided for a college sophomore, junior or senior majoring in Social Work. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.
An award shall be provided for a student majoring in Music Education or Speech/Theatre. The faculty of Music and Speech/Theatre shall select recipient.
A renewable scholarship shall be given in the area of Fine Arts. Recipient shall have graduated in the upper 10 percent of their high school class and have a GPA of at least 3.25.
The Theatre Program at CSC awards a number of Assistantships to students who plan to or who currently major in Theatre. These Assistantships are awarded on the basis of ability in Theatre, more than on financial need. Theatre Assistantships will be awarded from the following sources: Tuition Waivers, Memorial Scholarships, Foundation Assistantships, Fine Arts Assistantships. Click here for an application.
A scholarship will be provided for a student majoring in theatre, art, or music.
A scholarship will be provided for a sophomore, junior or senior majoring in Theatre.
A scholarship will be awarded to a student of sophomore level or above, majoring in the area of Theatre with an emphasis in costuming. In the absence of a student with an emphasis in costuming, any Theatre student who fits the criteria may be chosen. Need shall be a factor in recipient selection.
