The Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) is a cooperative program of the U.S. Small Business Administration and the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
NBDC is a network of small business development centers throughout Nebraska. NBDC provides direct management and technical assistance to more than 2,000 businesses in Nebraska each year. NBDC centers are located in Chadron, Omaha, Lincoln, Wayne, Kearney, North Platte, Scottsbluff, Norfolk, and Auburn.
NBDC provides business consulting services throughout Nebraska. Procurement assistance is available from offices in Auburn, Kearney, Lincoln and Omaha. Manufacturing assistance is available from offices in Norfolk and Omaha.
Consultants are Business Department Faculty, MBAs, MBA candidates, and leaders from the Nebraska business community who are able to apply up-to-date theory and information to your business practices. NBDC consultants focus on the particular needs of each client.
NBDC is an educational service designed to help business owners, especially small and medium-sized businesses, compete more evenly with larger firms that have the resources to employ similar consulting services. NBDC's staff is committed to the free enterprise system and is convinced of the contributions that small and medium-sized businesses can make in that system to the growth of Nebraska.
