Arrival and Transportation

When to Arrive

Students are advised to arrive in Chadron 3-4 days prior to the first day of the semester.

All admitted students should notify international@csc.edu of their intended arrival date. Once students arrive they should check in with the International Student’s Office in Crites Hall, room 229. At that time they will be assigned a staff member to assist them. Arrangements will be made to help them set up class schedules, pay billing costs, purchase books and check on housing arrangements. Students needing additional assistance may contact the International Office in Crites Hall, or by phone at 432-6496.

How to Get to Chadron

Depending upon the port of entry in to the USA, most students fly into Denver, Colorado or Rapid City, South Dakota after arriving in the United States. Commuter flights are available from Denver to Chadron. Travel agents may be able to help new students locate transportation to Chadron. Learn more about flights.

Places to Stay

Depending on arrival date, students may need to plan to stay in local motel until their campus housing is available. New students are required to live on campus unless exempt from this requirement.
