Student Comments

BruceHi my name is Bruce. I'm a graduate student at Chadron State College. I'm a member of the International Club. I have traveled with my club to historical sites and other sites of attraction. The International Club takes part in a lot of activities on campus and I'm proud to be a part of it. My stay at Chadron has been a learning experience. The people are embracing, kind and very helpful. I majored in Computer Science ( IST ) with a minor in Business/MIS. The Chadron environment is very conducive for learning, socializing and even business. I like Chadron a lot and when I got here I was almost instantly at home. I would recommend any International student to give Chadron a try, it’s an experience of a lifetime!!!" Bruce

HellaHi my name is Hella Bekele. I am majoring in Legal Studies. I am from Ethiopia. I'm a member of the International Club. I found out about Chadron through my friend Melat Sileshi. Of all the colleges that I have applied to Chadron was the most affordable and they were also interested in bringing a lot of international students on scholarships. I Like Chadron state because the classrooms are small, professors are friendly and the students are easy to associate with. !" Hella

Melat“Selam everyone, I go by the name of Melat Sileshi and I’m an int’l student from Ethiopia (hence the weird hello on top). I am majoring in Human biology and a minor in Physics. I chose Chadron for the simple fact that it is cheap and affordable. I enjoy the small classes and the understanding teachers. But most of all, I fell in love with Chadron because there were more than a handful of people that I was lucky enough to call my friends!"

“Greetings, My name is Alula Mazengia. I’m 21 years old and originally from Ethiopia. I’m a chemistry major. I first heard about CSC from a student who went to school here. On the college’s website, I learned more about the programs & scholarships. The information that I gathered spurred me on to go through the admission process, one thing led to another, and I finally ended up getting accepted into CSC with a full tuition waiver. From my own experience, I’d say that CSC has a lot to offer for international students. First of all, it is very affordable compared to other institutions and it offers tuition waiver too. It also has good academic programs, an environment that is easy to adapt to and the comfortable feel of a small town. CSC is certainly a conducive place for an academic pursuit, and I’d like to recommend CSC to any international student who is considering a move here. !" Alula
