International Students

8 Step Admissions Process

Chadron State College is interested in attracting international students that show strong academic ability, above average English language skills, and the capability of financing their education. Admission will be granted to those applicants who are able to provide credentials that meet the standards for admission set by the College.

Students are advised to read through all of the steps listed to the left.

  • Admission decisions are based upon academic coursework and in the case of students who are already in the U.S., compliance with visa regulations is taken into consideration.
  • Other factors such as personal recommendations will also be considered.
  • Admission decisions will also be based on the capacity of the College to accommodate additional international students.
  • Any foreign academic course work accepted by the College is subject to departmental approval.
  • Evaluation of transfer credit will not be completed until the applicant has arrived on campus and enrolled in classes.
  • Students have been accepted at CSC when they have received the I-20 or DS-2019.

All qualified applicants for admission will receive consideration without regard to age, race, marital status, gender, religion, national origin, or disability.

International students who use the I-20 or DS-2019 issued by this College to enter the United States and fail to register within 30 days will be reported to the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration services.
