The entire Chadron State College campus works together to assist international students and many individuals are available to help new international students become acquainted with the campus and the community. For more information about assistance available to new international students please contact international@csc.edu.
Some special items to note are below.
International students are assigned academic advisors according to their major once they arrive at Chadron State. Once students arrive on campus they should come to the Admissions Office in Crites Hall and they will be assigned someone to help them with their class schedules and other issues relating to settling in to college life at CSC.
The Admissions Office processes undergraduate applications for admission, assists in interpreting immigration regulations, and various record keeping functions. The Registrar is the college person who is assigned the responsibility of signing all immigration forms. The Admissions Office staff and the Registrar are not responsible for advising and counseling of international students. However, staff members in these offices are available to refer international students to appropriate individuals who can help them.
The International Club is open to all students on the CSC campus and especially welcomes the new international students to campus by hosting several events, trips and weekly meetings. For more information about the International Club please contact the sponsor Ms. Frances Gonzalez.
