For students who possess the ability and motivation to work without instructional supervision or contact, Chadron State College offers approximately 50 self-study correspondence courses. Completing a prescribed set of readings, study materials, assignments, and exams, students may earn CSC credit without traditional classroom attendance.
CSC correspondence courses allow students the option to enroll in semester-based (for students utilizing federal financial aid) or year-long formats (for students needing the additional time flexibility).
Correspondence courses are completely self-study following written instructions with no classroom time or faculty instruction, interaction, or supervision.
CSC correspondence courses are offered in an Internet-based format. Students must have access to a computer and the Internet.
