Modeling Best Professional Practices in Service

Unit faculty provide service to the College, area PK-12 Schools, and to the broader communities in ways that are consistent with the mission of Chadron State College and the Education Unit. Faculty are actively involved with the professional world of practice in PK-12 schools. Faculty are actively involved in professional associations, and provide education-related services at the local, state, national, or international levels. Table 5.8 provides a listing of professional association service records of faculty in the unit.

The 22 unit faculty collaborate regularly and systematically with colleagues in P-12 schools, faculty in other departments/units on campus, and with other members of the professional community to improve teaching and learning and how to better prepare candidates. Table 5.9 provides a listing of faculty collaborative efforts and activities.
