Scholarships

There are two scholarships available for Psychology majors:

  • Rick Hildreth Counseling & Psychology Scholarship
  • Dr. John Dunn Memorial Scholarship

Clubs

Chadron State College has an active Psychology Club. Members of the club meet twice a month and participate in many activities.




Professional Organizations

As a Psychology major, you will be able to become a student member of any of the professional organizations serving psychologists. Some of the national organizations you may wish to join include:

  • American Psychological Association (APA)
  • Association for Psychological Science (APS)

Although Nebraska is officially part of the Midwestern region, in many cases the conference for the Rocky Mountain region is closer for students and faculty to attend. Department members and students presented in 2007 and 2008. Some of these organizations include:

  • Midwestern Psychological Association
  • Rocky Mountain Psychological Association
