Employment opportunities for people with graduate degrees in Psychology are expected to grow approximately 20% by 2024. Psychological Sciences majors have the opportunity to complete 3 hours of internship, although more hours can count as electives. Internships help students to gain on-the-job experience in areas related to psychology. Student internships can be arranged in the Internship Office. The Internship office maintains a list of organizations currently looking for interns. In addition, they can work with you to set up an internship at a new internship site. Please contact the Internship Office to help you set up an internship.
While an internship is no longer required as part of the program, students who do not plan to attend graduate school may find it useful to explore potential human services related careers.
