Tuition Programs
Non-Resident Scholars (NRS) Program and Legal Residency
Please Note: These programs reduce the cost of out-of-state tuition to the in-state tuition level. Students taking online classes pay a flat-rate fee rather than in-state or out-of-state fees.
Entering Freshmen
This program offers in-state tuition to new students who meet these qualifications:
- Graduate in the upper half of high school class
- OR Possess a 3.25 overall high school GPA (4.0 scale)
- OR Possess a minimum composite ACT score of 22
- OR Possess a minimum SAT score of 1530
No application is necessary for new students. However, a completed admission file is required. The deadline for acceptance is the last day of registration for the term.
College Transfers
Students must possess a 3.0 cumulative GPA at all colleges previously attended. No application is necessary for new students. However, a completed admission file is required. The deadline for acceptance is the last day of registration for the term.
Graduate Students
Students must possess a 3.5 cumulative GPA at all colleges previously attended. No application is necessary for new students. However, a completed admission file is required. The deadline for acceptance is the last day of registration for the term.
Current Students
If a student was not eligible to enter the NRS Program when first enrolling at CSC, they may apply and enter the program when they obtain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at CSC.
Renewal Process
Students participating in the NRS Program will have their GPAs verified at the end of each academic year. Students are permitted to continue receiving in-state rates through graduation provided they maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Students that do not maintain a 3.0 GPA will be charged out-of-state tuition.
Legal Residency
Students interested in changing their legal residency to the state of Nebraska may inquire about the process, necessary documentation and obtain the application form at the Admissions Office.
