WNCC Course Equivalencies

The CSC/WNCC Transfer Guide is compiled according to Chadron State's collegiate and departmental structure. Since updating is a continuous process, the student should consult his/her college and/or major advisors for the latest information regarding the transfer of specific courses. The College reserves the right tchange any provision or requirement contained in this publication. Additions, deletions, or changes for course listings in the CSC Transfer Guide are coordinated through the office of the Assistant Vice President, Enrollment Management at Chadron State College.

Transfer of Associate of Arts Degrees

Students who have completed Associate of Arts degrees from Western Nebraska Community College will have met all General Studies requirements except the six hours of upper-division general studies requirements in Global & Social Awareness and Reason & Values. Completion of specific lower level courses may also be required in individual degree programs. For more information about transfer of credit click here.

Transfer of Associate of Science Degrees

Students who have completed Associate of Science degrees from Western Nebraska Community College plus the following courses as outlined in three categories:

1.) HUMS 1100 Introduction to Humanities
and
2.) ARTS 1710 Art Appreciation or MUSC 1400 Music Appreciation or THEA 1790 Introduction to Theatre
and
3.) POLS 2350 American Government and Politics or
HIST 2480 Early U.S. History or
HIST 2530 Late U.S. History or
HIST 1450 World Civilizations (4000 B.C.-1452 A.D.) or
HIST 2440 World Civilizations (1789 A.D.-Present)

from Western Nebraska Community College will have met all General Studies requirements except the six hours of upper-division general studies requirements in Global & Social Awareness and Reason & Values. Please note that only courses with a grade of “C” or above will be accepted as transfer credit.
