Transfer of Associate Degrees

Transfer of Associate of Arts Degrees

Students who have completed Associate of Arts degrees from Western Nebraska Community College will have met all General Studies requirements except the six hours of upper-division general studies requirements in Global Studies and Reason and Values. Completion of specific lower level courses may also be required in individual degree programs.

Transfer of Associate of Science Degrees

Students who have completed Associate of Science degrees from Western Nebraska Community College plus the following courses as outlined in three categories:

1.) HUMS 1100 Introduction to Humanities
and
2.) ARTS 1710 Art Appreciation or MUSC 1400 Music Appreciation or THEA 1790 Introduction to Theatre
and
3.) POLS 2350 American Government and Politics or
HIST 2480 Early U.S. History or
HIST 2530 Late U.S. History or
HIST 1450 World Civilizations (4000 B.C.-1452 A.D.) or
HIST 2440 World Civilizations (1789 A.D.-Present)
