The CSC/MPCC Transfer Guide is compiled according to Chadron State's collegiate and departmental structure. Since updating is a continuous process, the student should consult his/her college and/or major advisors for the latest information regarding the transfer of specific courses. The College reserves the right to change any provision or requirement contained in this publication. Additions, deletions, or changes for course listings in the CSC Transfer Guide are coordinated through the office of the Assistant Vice President, Enrollment Management at Chadron State College.
Transfer of Associate of Arts Degrees
Students who have completed Associate of Arts degrees from Mid-Plains Community College will have met all General Studies requirements except the six hours of upper-division general studies requirements in Global & Social Awareness and Reason & Values. Completion of specific lower level courses may also be required in individual degree programs. For more information about transfer of credit click here.
Transfer of Associate of Science Degrees
Students who have completed Associate of Science degrees from Mid-Plains Community College plus the following courses as outlined in three categories:
1.) ARTS 1210 Art Appreciation or MUSC 1660 Music Appreciation or THEA 1010 Introduction to Theatre
and
2.) POLS 1000 American Government and Politics
and
3.) HIST 2010 American History I to 1877 or
HIST 2020 American History II Since 1877 or
HIST 1010 World Civilization II
from Mid-Plains Community College will have met all General Studies requirements except the six hours of upper-division general studies requirements in Global & Social Awareness and Reason & Values. Please note that only courses with a grade of “C” or above will be accepted as transfer credit.
