Transfer Student Admissions Checklist

Apply for admission
Visit campus
Submit $50 housing fee to reserve your room
Make financial arrangements - do not file a new FAFSA if you are currently enrolled, instead "renew" your current FAFSA for CSC-code 002539
Apply for scholarships by March 1 (postmarked)
Submit official college transcripts (sent directly from each college attended)
Submit credit evaluation request (teaching or non-teaching)
Register for your classes - info will be posted on the CSC home page
Purchase your textbooks
Sign up for orientation - info will be posted on the CSC home page
Attend classes

Transfer Undergraduate Students, First Time On-Campus

If you have attempted 12 or more credit hours of course work at other colleges or universities after graduating from high school, you will be considered as a transfer student, for admission to Chadron State College. To apply for admission to Chadron State College, please follow these steps:

Complete and submit an online Admissions Application. We can also send you an Admission Application; call 1-800-CHADRON and ask for Admissions.
Forward final, official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended. These documents must be sent directly from the institutions to the Chadron State College Admissions Office.
