What attracted you to your major and how do you plan to use your degree? The nutrition and food labs are fun, and you can apply what you learn in a practical way.
What are you involved in on campus? Family and Consumer Sciences Club, Cardinal Key National Honor Society, Campus Crusade for Christ, Public Relations Club, intramural sports, Campus Activities Board, TeamMates Mentoring Program.
Where do you hang out in your spare time—what is “your spot” on campus? I really enjoy running in my spare time, and the trail that goes behind the college is a great place to go. It is quiet and pretty no matter the time of year!
What is your favorite class and/or professor? I really enjoy all of the classes related to my major; we always learn things that can be applied in a practical way, and the professors are good about making sure that everyone is up to speed.
Why did you choose CSC and why do you stay? I liked Chadron State because of the small class sizes; it really opens the opportunity for you to get to know the professors and your classmates.
